Help Vibrating SMSs

So I'm generally really liking my Prevail, outside of the excuse for a camera, but there's one thing that really bothers me: The phone vibrates AND plays the notification sound every time I get an SMS, even when my phone is NOT in silent mode and I have Vibrate set to "Only in silent mode."

Anyone know of a way to "fix" this? :/

I've been trying to figure this out as well. I have my phone set to never vibrate, yet it still vibrates when ever I get a text message.

Have you checked in the messaging app itself under settings is an option to vibrate on notification that is separate from the global setting

DOH! That was it, and it now no longer vibrates -- thanks! Odd thing, though: When I select "Only in silent mode" under Vibrate in the messaging app, even though the phone no longer vibrates when I receive a text, the option still reads Always vibrate. Weird.
