Vibration During Call

Anyone else experiencing this issue...

My S8 vibrates randomly during phone calls. I receive a vibration about the 1 minute 30 second mark and at random intervals throughout the duration of the call. I don't have it set to notify me of anything during calls, in fact I've gone so far as to turn off all app notifications to see if that was the problem, still vibrates. I experience the vibration whether I'm using the phone regularly (next to my ear), or on speaker. I've been through every setting trying to find the cause but have been unsuccessful. Any suggestions?

It is nothing to do with notifications. There is this option in the settings that gives you an option to the you described. Try disabling it. I don't remember where I saw it last but it should be in the either the phone settings, call settings or the device settings. Do try and let me know.

Leo, thanks for the reply. I've been back through every setting and I cannot find anything that would be causing the vibration issue. I don't know where else to look. I'm obviously overlooking something I just can't seem to figure out what it is.

First, I'd check to see if all your connections are clean. I would pull out your SD card and clean out any areas to make sure it is getting a good connection. Then, do the same for the battery. Maybe your phone is just wigging out for this reason.

Should be

a hardware problem... The users on this thread http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...791924-phone-vibrates-shakes-during-call.html are facing the same problem.

The last  resort would be to factory reset your phone..... But if it is purely a hardware problem the even that wouldn't help.


You can also try clearing the data of the phon and contacts app if they have a programming flaw that should fix it.
