Vibration missing from texts.

My HTC one wont vibrate when i get a text message when ihave the volume up. I tried going into the setting and nothings working. Any ideas?
 
Welcome to Android Forums,

Check inside the messaging app. Open settings and look for a notification option. There should be an option to enable vibration from within the app itself.
