Vibration Strength When Phone Set To Vibrate

I got the LG G3 on July 11th. While at work, I must have the phone on vibrate. My problem is that even with vibration strength set to maximum for calls, notifications, and text I can't hear it when it is on my desk. You could significantly hear the vibration alert on all the other phones I have had. My question to all of you who have the phone is if this is normal for the LG G3 or if mine is defective and should be returned. I am okay if this is the norm for the phone but one other thread has indicated that the vibration is significant when in vibrate only mode. Yet another thread has stated that because the phone is thin, the vibration will be less due to the motor. I have no problem when sound is set to normal as it vibrates so that I can feel it if in the pocket of my jeans. I just need to know if my phone should be returned.

im kinda disappointed with the vibration as well the lg g2 had better vibration.
also disappointed with the led light its not as bright as g2.

you think when developing this phone they would compare these things against there last model..

It may be defective. My LG vibration is strong.

vibration strength does seem to be a bit weak

Mine is incredibly weak as well. Often don't hear it when it's sitting right in front of me. Kind of a stupid but fairly significant problem.

Thanks for the responses. I went to the store and checked their demo and it was the same. I too don't hear it when it is sitting right next to me. I have 2 days to decide if I should take the phone back. I also could get a blootooth headset I guess but I spend a lot of time on the phone while at work and this would be a problem.

My two day old G3 vib is very good. In my belt case, I feel it before I hear it. I wear hearing aids.

This thread is just based off of peoples opinions u wont get much. But for a fact the g2 has better vibration when i compare them both

I had the Optimus G which I passed down to my daughter. She can be sitting in an adjacent room and I can feel and hear the vibration if the phone is on he couch. I also went back to the store because I thought the vibration on the G3 was defective. Turns out the demo phone was just as weak.
