Video and audio quality

Hi, I have a video in 720p I would like to convert it in 1080p and want to improve the audio quality aswell in my android device, which app shoukd I download?

What's your device? 720p should be sufficient for most phone screens, the only 1080p screens are the HTC One and SGS4 as far as I'm aware.

Handbrake can convert/encode media formats, but not sure how well it handles upscaling?

Upscaling would be shotty at best. It's very hard to upscale video/audio content. Even regular photo's have issues with upscaling. Your best bet is to rip the content to the settings you desire.

I am using samsung tab 2, what exactly happen is I m having an movie which is in 720p downloaded from torrent, video quality is good enough but audio is below average this is why I would to like to upscale the video.

Well, we can't really help you if it was pirated.

Buy the DVD/Blu-Ray, re-encode it yourself and you can set your own resolution.
