Hello,

We would be happy to offer some troubleshooting on this, although it would be minimal as LG does not support the software.

We did try the video apps here and did not have the same problem.

Have you tried to uninstall the apps and then reinstall them? Sometimes there may be a newer version of the app that can cause issue with the non-updated app.

If that does not work, you may need to do a factory reset on the phone. Be sure to back up the phone contents before you do so.

If all else fails, you may want to contact your carrier for other suggestion or possible service inquire.

I initiated a video hangout with my wife this weekend and had no problems. Haven't used Skype or had any incoming video calls yet.

I used video hangout while on the road for over an hour the other day. Worked great.
