Video Codecs?

[xedd]

Hello, I would like to know if there are any video codec application for Android? Something like the ffdshow for PC.
It's much better to just install the codecs and then use the player you like, without having to switch between players, depending on the video format.
For example I can't play FLV files on my tablet.

thanks

The codecs seem to be embedded in the player app itself. For example, you can play mkv using Moboplayer or MX Player, but you can't using default player.
