Help Video files won't copy to PC in Windows explore

If I cut & paste a video file to my PC using KIES, the source file remains on the phone.
I can only copy one at a time. Sometimes even then they won't copy or paste to my PC. I'm running windows XP.
Would it be better if I used Mass storage or PC internet option when I plug in micro USB to phone ?
Having said that if I select either if those nothing happens !
What are they for ?

My phone's a Galaxy GT I9000. Not listed here !

Incidently is anyone else having problems posting to Samsung Galaxy S Forums - Galaxy S II Forum. I just get a dismiss notice !
Don't know why. Never caused any problems there.

I would suggest using Mass storage mode all the time unless you want to upgrade using KIES. In mass storage mode your computer will treat the phone as an external disk and you can copy and delete files off the phone.

Set the Mass storage mode on the phone first and then plug it in the computer it will recognize it as a drive.

That's the mode I'm using with phone like a USB drive in Windows explore.
It'll copy jpg's but not movies !?
I get the transferring symbol for several minutes up to about 80% then the message 'Handle not valid' ?!
