Help Video formats?

[ickster]

I've looked at MetroPCS and Samsung and can't find a list of video formats that the Indulge will play?
Haven't had lot of time for checking it's capabilities here yet.
Just wondering where to find specific video info. Seems like most of the video player Apps I've seen say that they'll only play files that the phone handles already?
Anyone know the ideal files and resolutions for this phone?
Thanks

My .avi files play quite nicely thanks. I'm pretty impressed. Just as good as my Archos. Now if I could just output to my TV.........convergence baby!

Yea some output to the TV would be great!

I thought I read somewhere (in the specs for the phone maybe?), something about this Samsung Indulge being able to connect to other devices via wifi, using some type of DLNA standard. Immediately, a Samsung TV came to my mind. I don't know if anyone has tried this though, or knows any more about it?

From Samsungs website....
"The DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) provides immediate connection between your digital devices through Wi-Fi, regardless of the manufacturer. Enjoy the freedom to access, play and share your favorite movies, music, and photos at home or on the go using devices from several makers."

Sounds great, but I don't have that capability on my TVs.
