Video out to TV?

I have searched for this hear and in other forums but cannot find the answer which makes me think it is not possible yet or ever. Can you output the Droid or any Android devices screen to a TV?
 
Really?? No one here knows anything about this? Even the iPhone can output video to a TV. There any Android programs that mirror what is on the device to a TV??

The iphone is a more mature product then the droid is (considering the droid and Android 2.0 are 6 1/2 days old :rolleyes:) so I would expect it to be able to output. Im sure the hardware has the capability to, its just going to take a little bit of time for more advanced apps like this to come out. Patience is a virtue.
