Help Video playback lag

I'm having problems playing back any kind of high quality video, recorded video stops but i can still hear all the sound and YouTube does the same however of i turn HQ off on YouTube the videos play fine also if i restart my phone all videos play perfectly fine (as they have done since i bought the phone)

I did notice i was watching a HD video then received a call when i returned to watching the video i had the lag issues.

I have uninstall all the apps i have installed recently thinking it was possibly a conflicting app but still nothing.

I am not sure if its been this way since the last update (can't recall) but its really annoying!!
Has anyone had this issue or know a possible fix?

How long do you normally get into the vids or does it cut out straight away? I wonder if it's a buffering issue and the reboot is clearing the cache/ memory which is why it sorts after a reboot.

Just speculation, could be totally wrong. have you tried clearing the data and cache associated with youtube?

I have tried what you said but still no luck The videos dont actually load i get 1 frame every 6 seconds or so but the sound is perfectly fine.

I downloaded a app monitor to see what was useing the most CPU/RAM on my phone but it has shown me nothing.

I guess the next step is a whipe of the phone but i really dont want to go to that point.
