Help Video playbacks

I am unable to play certain video files with extensions like wmv, mpg4 etc. Is there a video player or any other way to make these files run?

I use Rockplayer, it plays pretty much anything I've tried with it.

If the resolution of the video is greater than that of the phones screen (480x800), it will be jerky and potentially unplayable though.
