video player problem error: file cannot be displayed or played

[blink.riddle]

I've looked for an existing solution for this problem but have yet to find one. Today I recorded a video and just now tried to play it and it gives me the error above. I am using a DROID X2 and have had it for two days. My phone is not rooted and all the apps being used are the default/preinatalled apps. Help please.
