OK I have some anime on my computer in .MKV format. Is it possible to watch that on my phone?

I've been able to play full HD mkv files on this phone. The native player, however, isn't able to decode AC3 audio, so I had to purchase and install "Dice Player" which plays just about everything I throw at it.

Ok I tried MX Video Player and it works fine with .MKV files.

Yeah, MX Video seems to be the best. I tried a bunch of them on my low-end tablet to get it to run stuff and MX was the easiest.

i believe you can just install the free arm7 codecs from mxplayer and then use any player, that's what i've been doing(although i stream my mkv's from my pc):

I was able to get MX Player to play the full HD videos with AC3 audio, however, I did have to use the software decoder for just the audio. When using the software decoder solution with AC3 audio, I was only able to watch and hear, but couldn't seek through the video at all.

I use playon, I have the full version, but it should work with the trial version also
