Video question for Moto Droid and Eris owners

I know I have read on this board that some of you guys have both a Droid and an Eris in your home. Have you guys had issues playing videos on your Eris that were made on the Droid? My wife has the Droid and when she emails me high res videos I cannot play them. I've tried different media players in the market but none of them seem to work. Has anyone found a solution to that problem?

They might be too high res. The Eris is not a powerful phone, and has no hardware acceleration for video that I know of, and scaling down Droid videos may be too much work for it to do and just refuses to play them. Just a guess, since I have no way to verify this.
