[VIDEO] Strong Blade

I'm seeing the one they showed on Sunday football during the Daily Show. They are pushing a certain demographic for sure. I've seen one Rezound commercial now too.

I saw it on Comedy Central as well. All the major networks and Radio are airing the RAZR commercials.

I was at the gym today and a guy asked if my phone was the RAZR. I asked where he heard it. The Radio..:)

I saw the ReZound commercial as well but it was by HTC not Verizon (mentioned where to get it but HTC obviously did it)
 
That "impossibly thin" commercial must be for the European version. Notice how the commercial actually shows off the phone for what it is, and doesn't have some stupid robot or floating woman saying this is "the master of all machines." Just show the phone off for what it is, damn it!

No I like to see special effects with a great voice over :) I don't want to see just another phone commercial. We have Apple and HTC for that.

Its all about the high production value. :)

I think so (or rather the XT910 for any country), as they are calling it "Motorola RAZR" instead of "Droid RAZR by Motorola". Verizon seems to be so keen on that term that in one video from the launch event the rep presenting it even said "Here we have the Motorola RAZR... er... Droid RAZR by Motorola...". Dumb if you ask me, but then I'm European. :D
 
Quick note--I saw this commercial (the one that actually has information vice floating women robots mastering machines) during last night's ABYSMAL Denver/Jets game.

I did see a Verizon branded Rezound commercial during last night too, but can't recall the channel--I think it was either the game or on CBS.

That is the first commercial I saw the the Razr about a week ago, and I think it is one of the worst pieces of marketing around. You don't even know what the product they are selling is until the very end, and by then you probably stopped paying attention.

It's entertaining. For me, they can't make a commercial that will tell me something that I don't already know, so they're all worthless.
 
If you are posting in this forum, you are not a part of the 99% who have never heard about the RAZR before that commercial.

I sorta agree, but the action in the commerical itself is pretty rare so it keeps people watching.

And those 99% aren't going to see my post. I didn't post it so that we can discuss Moto/VZW's marketing strategy or to sway anyone who is thinking of buying one...
