Video to Facebook

I've searched the forum and can't seem to find any information on this. Does anyone know why you can't post video recorded on the Eris directly to facebook? When I go to share my media, my only facebook option is to share pics. This seems like something that should be available. Thanks.

I like the idea of qik...does it work well for you? Do you have to take a bunch of different steps to get a video up, or is it a one-click type of deal?

its easy (IMO)

setup an account on your PC on their site.

login

add you networks (youtube, fb, twitter, etc)

then on the phone open the app. click record, when done click share, its real easy.

I loaded my video clips to youtube then linked from youtube from the browser to facebook. Also the facebook app Bloo has video option on share button.

From reading the FAQs on qik, it appears as though the video is stored on the qik network and not on your phone. Does this mean you cannot MMS (message) vids to your contacts? Are the videos somewhere on the phone as well? Sorry for all of the questions.

I tried pixelpipe bec. it had an option to upload to FB but when I tried it took forever and ever so I said forget it. I've been using Bloo for awhile now and really like it. Like you said SuperStuff, i just noticed today that Bloo has a "Share" button on the main menu with the option for video and link. I was having trouble posting links to FB from Bloo before but used that link tab and works like a charm. I haven't tried the video tab yet but i am hoping it works as well. I never noticed these options before. Wonder if they came with the last update a few days ago. But they make Bloo just about perfect now.

Using the qik app, the vid gets recorded to your phones sd card. Then it uploads a copy to the qik servers (which might i add over 3g is rather.....qik)

from there it pushes it to your other networks so it takes a lot of load off the phone.

I also use qik. It's a pretty cool app. And I have it set to only share the videos I choose, to facebook... OR you can have it upload to facebook automatically.
