Root video tutorial for stock root

i really want to root my EVO V but don't want to flash any roms coming from the MT Root and Flashing was so simple,and my learning curve on this EVO V is really confusing me would anyone be kind enough to make a video tutorial to show me how to root this thing.. would be much appreciated thanks.

I could make one even though I'm already rooted. But I wouldn't be able to make one till Sunday night. Monday at best.
 
I'm new on this phone . I come from the motorola triumph seems like is more difficult to root the evo v..I would apriciate a video tutorial ..
 
Thanks but I endend not even needing to watch a video I just followed the steps of newbies guide. I'm currently using meanROM ..I had installed some Rom I downloaded on step one , I believe is a stock Rom (odex) with SuperUSer already built in but I found a bug I ddnt like which was camera wasn't working so I switched over to meanrom ..so far is been stable and camera works even 3d. I highly recommend meanrom thanks for the developer of tthis Rom. I'm actually new to this so I'm learning a few more things about this phone.
