Help VIDEO WONT PLAY FROM INTERNAL MEMORY

Hi all.

Im not newbie to Android and only registered here cause I cant help myself fixing this issue.

I bought tablet
MTK6582 Quad Core 3G Phone Call 10 inch Tablet PC 2GB RAM 16GB ROM 5.0MP Bluetooth GPS Phablet
This tablet has android 4.4 pre installed, but any movie I want to play wont load. Installed all possible players, tried from SD card, but still no luck. Funny thing is they only work from pluged in USB. Same movies wouldnt play from internal memory or SD card, but all will play from USB.

Also installed Showbox. All movies playing perfect, once I download them directly from Showbox I get same error Cant play video.

Im loosing my head over this.

Any suggestions? Ideas? Will I reflash rom on Chinese tablets for something better???
 
It may have got an actual fault. Usually internal storage is OK, it's SDs can sometimes give problems, like trying to use fakes. But then sometimes these no-name cheapo tablets can be somewhat problematic when it comes to many things. Could try factory resetting it, and if that doesn't fix it, may have to RMA for replacement or refund.

One thing, we can't assist with anything to do with Showbox and similar, because of copyright infringement, forum rules.

Thank you Mike.

I ordered 3 of them. There is no way all 3 have the same issue. Tried factory reset already. Today noticed of 10 movies I downloaded mp4 maybe 2 of them worked from internal memory. They seems to have same compress mp4, no difference on them, but dont understand why one is and other is not working.
 
How are you actually transferring the videos into the tablets, are you copying them from a PC? possibly they're being corrupted somehow. Check the file sizes between the originals and what's stored in the tablets, make sure they match.

Yeah, was copying from PC but directly into tablet and then tried to copy on SD card in the PC and also downloaded directly from Showbox app, no change.
 
I suggest you check their integrity on the tablet's internal storage, like doing MD5 checksums on them, there's a few MD5 apps on Play. And if the checksum hashes don't match between the videos on the tablet and what's on the PC, then there's something definitely wrong with the storage and/or file transfers. MD5 is commonly used to check download integrity of files, like custom ROMs, to make sure what you downloaded matches the original on the server, that it's not been truncated or otherwise corrupted.
