Video wont play since 4.4.2 update

Hi, I use both an Android phone and Tablet to watch a video streaming service to watch Premier League games - however, since updating both devices to 4.4.2 I am unable to watch video's from this app. The screen freezes on a grey screen stating that it is trying to load the video, and nothing happens.

The video's would play fine prior to updating to KitKat, and nothing has changed with my network etc.

I have a droidbox that is running Jelly Bean, and that runs the app with no problems, so something has happened when upgrading my devices to KitKat.

Would this be a system error with my tablet / phone or something with the App itself that needs updating?

My phone is a Galaxy S4 and the tablet is an Advent Tegra Note 7.

Seems to me that it points to a app error. Maybe the app is not compatible with 4.2.2 I would check with the developer.

One thing you can try is to clean your cache out and see if that helps

Thanks for the update. Looking into it, it does appear to be an app error - cant update as the apk is from the New Zealand store, which had a fix for 4.2.2. Looks like I may have to root my phone for access.
