Videos/movies on note 2

I've never really tried getting videos on any mobile device until now. Do I need to do something with it to take advantage of the Note's proportions?

I think the standard 16:9 fits almost perfectly on the Note II screen. You get a tiny black bars on top and bottom. The stock video player does not have zoom and crop; it only has stretch. You could stretch up and down so people look a little thinner, or download another video player to zoom and crop off a tiny bit on the side to fill up the screen. Or just ignore the tiny thin black bars.

I use DVD to Droid to convert and they play full screen with stock video player.

For the DVD to Droid thing, I'm not using dvds though.
