Help Vietnamese IME updated - Unwanted

There is this Vietnamese IME update which shows up in my Android Market list of software for update but warns:

For those who are using HTC phones with ASIA ROM, there are chances that Vietnamese IME was installed as default system app. In this case, please DO NOT perform the upgrading from Android Market or the new upgrading Vietnamese IME will be crashed.

I can find the Vietnamese IME in my applications but cannot un-install it. So my problem is with the Vietnamese IME in my list of suggested updates, but apparently one I should not install I cannot use the "Update All" option anymore.

Anyway to get it out of there? TIA

Not without rooting I expect. If it causes issues, you can just uninstall the market update via the apps menu.

Not sure if others have been getting it... the only active local forum I know of has 99% of the DHD's rooted.
