Hi everyone, how do I view/stream display from phone (lg g stylo) to t.v? Sorry for the noob question.

I have a vizio smart t. v btw

I don't have wi-fi, i just hotspot my tv to phone for netflix.

Ouch, watching streaming vids using your cellular is going to really chew up a lot of your monthly data plan. Also, some of the carriers still charge extra for hotspot/tethering.

Does your LG have a 'WiFi Direct' option in your WiFi Settings? If it detects your Vizio that might work out for you.

Another less elegant solution, if you have a spare wireless router, is to just set up your own home wireless network. Even if the wireless router isn't connected to a DSL or cable modem and getting an online connection, you can just add your phone and your Vizio to our local network so they'll be on a shared WiFi network.
 
The stylo does have wifi direct. So there you go. If you really need to see it bigger go to dollar store and buy reading glasses that let you see it bigger for a buck. Lol
