View videos from Android on laptop

Do any of you know what software if required to view video from Android 3G (Samsung) on HP Laptop? Tried plugging it in with usb and need some kind of software. I emailed the video from the Andoid to my gmail account and can't view it. Downloaded RealPlayer to my laptop and still can't view. Anyone know how? Grace hoofinitup at gmail

If you're on a Windows machine, there should be a window that pops up a few seconds after you connect your device to your computer via USB. This window will have about 4 icons in it. One of them is the Samsung USB driver installer. Double click that and install the drivers. Afterward, and can access your SD card and view/access the files you want.

You are most likely missing the proper codec on your machine.

The simple solution is to view with VLC.
