Viewing hidden folders

I got a new(bought used) Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi. I've installed an app, Youversion Bible App, but when I have the Tab connected via USB to my computer I do not see the Youversion Folder. I know it's there but seems it's hidden somehow.

Makes me wonder what other folders are hidden. Is there some trick to making these hidden folders viewable via a USB connection?

Try using Astro file manager. It should show all folders, hidden or otherwise. Are you sure the folder you're looking for isn't buried a couple of levels down, inside of a standard folder (like Documents)?
