Help Viewing jpegs from an external Sd card reader

Hello everyone. This is my first post so be gentle. I want to be able to take the SD card from my trail camera & view the (jpeg) photos on my Samsung Galaxy Pro SGH-1547. I bought this .

Do I need to install an app for this to work? When I connect it to the phone & insert an SD card nothing happens. This reader cost practically nothing. Do I need something different/better?

Read the description on the link you postsd. It specifies the phones it works with and how to activate it. Hope this helps
