Help viewing saved wifi passwords.

[Decapitated Toy]

so i have used the technique described on this site
View Passwords For WiFi Access Points Saved On Your Android Device.

i can view the file that is labeled wpa_supplicant.conf and it says that it contains passwords at the top of the page(when opened) but then it only gives examples. i know i have several passwords saved and that this method has worked for people with other phones. did i miss something? is there a different file path for this phone? the file path i found is slightly different device/ect/wifi not data/misc/wifi.

Hi

My phones have the file in both locations. Only the version in the data/misc/wifi folder has the passwords in it.

there is an application that i used to view my saved wifi passwords. Your phone has to be rooted first. The name of the application is wifi key recovery. I use it and it works 100%
