Viewpad7 webcam

Acording to Viewsonic the Viewpad7 doesn't support video call (Skype) however it has a webcam (in front, according to Viewsonic) I say according because if it was a webcam it should function as one? Videocalls. My question: Is it a software or hardware limitation? Thanks for any help.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums!

"not supported" doesn't necessarily mean it won't work. It may work, but poorly. It could be either a lack of power or a software limitation. I would ask the members in Viewsonic ViewPad 7 - Android Forums to see if they know exactly why Skype isn't supported.
