Since sometimes if I look at a post and it says for example like '25 views', does that mean 25 people clicked on the post, or 25 people are watching it?

The former. 25 people read it.

Well how would they know if someone read the entire thing? Do you mean they clicked on it?

It just counts clicks, there's no way to tell if someone has read the entire post.

There's no way to tell that. If you look at a members profile page, you can see what they're looking at, but that's as close as you'll get.

I mean you know how you can press the little 'eye' at the top, and you start 'watching' it? So that if someone replies to it then you get a notification, and they appear in your 'my stuff' section.

was answered by @El Presidente and @Fox Mulder..... The thread has been clicked on 25 times, read or not.

That has nothing to do with views.
