Villain rom 2.0 battery drain!

I always thought that villain rom improved battery but since fashing this my battery life has halved. Is this a problem with this version, or is it something to do with the Kg1 kernel?
 
You say your battery life has halved? what rom are you comparing it to? Have you installed any apps since flashing the rom? What are your biggest battery drains in battery status?
 
I'm comparing it to the stock Ke2 rom. I havn't downloaded any apps other than what I used to have on the other rom. To be honest the standby time seems to be about the same. It just seems to drain when I use it. Dolphin hd is about 20% higher than it used to be and the display about 10%. Everything else seems to be pretty normal. I've used about 5% of my battery in the couple of mins its taken to write this.
 
Something is not right there, what % is dolphion hd at? Did you do a wipe before you installed the rom?
 
Its dropped a little to 35% but it never used to go above 20. And yes I did factory reset and cache wipe befoe installing
 
Today probably about 30 mins. But I used to use it for 2-3 hours a day and it was never above 20%.
Display- 46%
Android os- 9
Standby- 6
Android system & idle- 4
 
I've noticed the same, I was using KE7 stock and getting almost 2 full days, since installing VR2.0 I am getting almost 1 full day.
 
Lost 15 percent of batter in 3 hours :confused: With display off . And No app but google talk and widgetlocker (only used winamp widget and custom unlocker) on (Wifi). Background data on. Auto sync off
 
I got fed up with it in the end and flashed lite'ning 2.2. Now my battery is back to what it used to be, even though this doesn't even claim to be easy on the battery. This also uses kg1 so it obviously isn't this.
