There's several options within the V4A apk for audio quality as well as UI settings that make varying capabilities and options.Have viper installed now on pure stock...don't care for it though, distorting sound, unless I don't know how to configure it, lol
Gee, I never thought to try to change settings. Thanks for this great insight. <.<There's several options within the V4A apk for audio quality as well as UI settings that make varying capabilities and options.
How do you have Viper set up in the Volt? I get nothing but speaker distortion with all the configurations I've tried.I've been using V4A on every device I ever owned since 2012. I've also have installed it on every device (~200) that I have worked on, fixed, or rooted. Haven't had any complaints, ever!
For Bluetooth and headset (plugged into stereo)How do you have Viper set up in the Volt? I get nothing but speaker distortion with all the configurations I've tried.
I thought that I should expound on why I chose those settings, just so what I'm doing makes more sense to others. For Bluetooth and headset (plugged into stereo)
Differential and Reverb set like that give an awesome, clean sound, with a great feel (sound stage). Overall the music becomes ALIVE, no muddyness.
- Playback gain: extreme, 4x, 0 dB offset
- Adjust EQ
- Differential sound: 20 ms
- Reverb: 36m2, 6m, 10, 20, 70
- Bass boost: natural, 50 hz, 8 dB
- Viper clarity: XHiFi, 6 dB
Used viper on many ROMs and not just on the volt, I get skips in playback (can't remember past issues), I think it might be a CPU ramping issue. Maybe with certain governors.
Edit: Viper likes to hog CPU, I'm seeing skips in polls under the 787 MHz range, tried all 3 drivers (power saving, high, and super) still skips, now pointing to maybe something wakelocking and/or ramping.
