Root Virgin can't activate my phone :(

Hi all,I wan't to start by saying thanks for the great community here.I have a big problem here and I have searched with no luck.
I decided like a dummy,to root,s-off and flash before activating the phone. It's a long story but I'm coming from Boost (yeah I know) and got a deal on a couple cards right before I bought the phone.Well I got impatient and I wanted to play with my Evo V in the meantime.
After over an hour on the phone with advanced customer support they cannot activate it.The guy said if my phone was rooted it could not go through activation without a factory reset or stock rom.So I'm hoping someone could point me in the right direction and hopefully not have to undo the greatness I have done.
I am s-off ,on the Angry Bean rom and have the paid 4ext.
Many thanks in advance :)

I had a problem where I turned the phone on before I activated it. It went into auto-activation and some weird phone number was locked in the phone. They told me I had to wait at least 4 days so that the next tier of customer service could fix it.

Screw that I proclaimed...and returned the phone and got another one. I made sure I received the activation email before I turned it on for the first time.

You will most likely have to flash the stock ICS Rom to get activated. I am sure the VM members will square you away, if not I will get Ramjet here for you.

Thank you, from what I've researched I understand I need to go back to a sense rom or stock, but want to make sure I flash the proper one being s-off.I was hoping there was a slightly easy way to do this without losing s-off.

You cannot "lose" S-OFF, but you can intentionally reset the phone to S-ON. This is not required or recommended.
