Root Virgin Just made me lose my mobile data & now I cant get it back...

I called in cuz I was trying to get my msl well I got it, but I also got no mobile data now! I even reaet the phone with Virgin on my home phone hard reset and nothing still can't get a 4 or 3g icon for the life a me! They cat explain it. I was entering a ##7 something in the dialer and i entered exactly what the 1st lady said and it made my data stop working. I had told her my prl wasnt updating thats why i needed my msl. She did this to help make the prl update im pretty sure, she was very hard to understand but all i know is I got a $35 credit but still what am I gonna do! I even lost all my stock wallpapers! Anyone have any ideas! Oh yah in a different post i mentioned I had yet to have a playstore crash well that happened for a 1st time too!

I've tried that numerous times and they just flicker from me tapping them but nothing happens. That was the 1st thing I tried and virgin had me try it too! It is very weird that's for sure! Thank you for replying!

That's what happened after I uninstalled the Software Update, Update Center apps and Unused Apps. You didn't freeze or uninstall those did you?

No never froze or uninstalled anything important. No idea why any of this is happening!

Weird, a paranoid person might think they deliberately messed up your phone because you asked for your MSL.
I'm on Boost, I'm not familiar with Virgin's processes, but can you run through the activation setup again?

Well im glad to report I finally played with settings and stuff and so far so good, got my data back! I went into settings and went to activate device, then when it gave me the device activation failed call Virgin @ 1888 blah so i clicked the icon in the upper right hanf corner &figured i'd try and hit reset cellular data it rebootand bingo my beautiful sprint spark 4G. Icon came back &is working fine now. I cane believe I didn't try that last night, and I also cant believe Virgin never thought to do that! I do have the original ## dialercode that started this whole mess it was dial box ##139998# & that brought. Me to Service Program with 3 choices 1. View MDN or MSID, 2. Edit & 3. Done & the Virgin rep had me hitting 2& entering #'s that she read off to me and blam thats what started the mess. Hope that sorta explains it a lil better! Thanx for responding bg4m3r & Saxon.

No problem, that's what we are all here for.

So 139998 must be your MSL then aye make sure you keep it in a safe place for later development. You will need it when we get recovery/ROMs for various adjustments/fixes with the dialer codes for MMS issues, internal tethering, etc etc when/if they arise.

I tend to log everything that happens on a support call for later reference.
