Moon, I screwed up my MMS. It was working but I installed a messaging app from the play store and bounced between the apps for a while.

Yesterday I flashed 1.2 (though I don't think this caused my problem)

I have uninstalled the message apps except for hangouts.

Now when I send myself a MMS I get the following popup:

MMS cannot be sent because your mobile plan blocks MMS. Contact your carrier.

I have tried a dirty flash of conquest but still get the same popup. I also reflashed mopeds APN zip.

Do you have ant suggestions before I do a clean install?

Yeah. Hangouts uses its own APN system. Go to settings->SMS->Access Point Names. Should be a whole bunch of them in there, by default the top one is usually selected. Try resetting them to default (MENU->Reset to default) and then select the first one. You can also try editing the top one to use http://mmsc.vmobl.com:8088/mms? instead of the Sprint gateway. Don't change the proxy or port though or it won't work.

Update... Looks like I only get the "can't send MMS" popup when I send a MMS to my own phone. I can send and receive MMS from other phones.

Sorry for my knee-jerk reaction. All is well in the bob-st S3 world :)

i ment how do i get nd8?

If you're on boost or virgin, you would have to flash the ND8 or NDC tar via Odin. Either baseband should work fine. On Sprint, flash the tar via Odin or the OTA update. There are multiple threads here and at XDA Developers detailing how this can be accomplished.

If you use Odin, it does not matter what rom you are on because the Odin process will completely overwrite your existing rom and baseband.

As Moon suggested, "There are multiple threads here and at XDA Developers detailing how this can be accomplished."

You need to read and then read some more. The process isn't difficult, but you MUST follow the steps correctly.

06/06/2014 Singularity/1.3
  • Removed "Page Buddy" and "Home Screen Mode" from settings (they don't work without TouchWiz Launcher)
  • Removed "Battery Full/100%" notification

There's a bug in the script that I use to add the toggles which causes the toggles to be duplicated each time the zip is flashed. I'll have another release ready tomorrow that should fix this. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Release note: Flashing this ZIP will reset your quick settings toggles to the default values.

Fast and stable. I'll be sticking with this ROM for a long time. As a humble request/statement, I also preferred the stock messaging app as someone else also mentioned. I'm sure I can find a replacement on the play store.
Great work, thanks for the ROM

There's an app on the store that looks like cm11, I haven't had A chance to try it yet, but it looks cool, that's the app I'd like to use.

RELEASE NOTES
The installer in this release includes the ability to install many of the Samsung/TouchWiz apps that were removed in the 1.x series giving you the ability to customize your experience to your liking.
Please be aware that the Samsung/TouchWiz apps are installed as system apps and cannot be removed without a root uninstaller (ES File Explorer, Titanium Backup, etc.).
The installer will also allow you to choose not to install many of the Google/AOSP apps that were pre-installed in the 1.x series.
To access these options, choose "customize" during installation. Choosing "Default" will install the same app set that comes standard in the 1.x series.

yo dude just a heads up. i use my phone for internet usb tether so forth. but every time i turn off the screen or the screen shuts off i experience lagg... then when i hit the power button unlock the phone. every thing is gravy. this is the only rom out of the 20 roms ive tried. i understand your thinking if you dont like it dont use it. but i do like it that just one of the only flaws that will make me swap and not donate

First, check your screen off profile in KTweaker. Ktweaker allows for a separate maximum frequency when the screen is off in the interest of battery savings. Customize it to your heart's content.

Second, I really don't care if you swap.

Third, donate to whom, exactly?
