You can use the KT747 kernel located here. Make sure you get the TW 4.4 kernel and not the AOSP 4.4 kernel. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only custom TW 4.4 kernel available.

Only if you're using a ROM that doesn't natively support Virgin Mobile. The kernel has nothing to do with the APN.

That shouldn't happen.

I would go back to your latest nandroid backup and try again.

I can attest with rooted stock NDC flashing a TW sprint kernel I too lost data. Didn't want to mess with it at the time so I went back to stock.

went back to stock backup !!

Just do what I did. Flash the kernel and then flash the ND8 radio that jdsingle76 made for me and put here...

Everything seems to be working just fine on this end...

I running this kernel with moonknightus' ROM. I have flashed both the NDC and the ND8 modems with no data issues.

Interesting. My wife has the ND8 (Boost) and I have the NDC (VM) modem installed. In side by side speed tests sometimes hers is a little faster. But, more often than not mine is a little bit faster. This was LTE only
