Root [Virgin Mobile] Boy am I screwed

I think this all could've been solved, ive had the same issue in philz, I took out the sdcard, put it back in, hard reset, holding the power button for 6 seconds and wha la, it read my sd card I I flashed my rom

Good deal. If you flashed the APN fix, then turning off WiFi will make data kick in automatically.

Question for you struckn that I couldn't find an answer to...
Does the APN fix need to be flashed each time you flash the ROM or is it a one-time flash & done deal?

It will hold through a dirty flash, but if you are switching to an entirely new ROM or doing a fresh install of any kind, flash it in the same session as the ROM flash.

Hey Struckn Just wanna say that Rom is been pretty awesome apn been working great but I do have a question anything for free tethering? Btw yous the Man! Thanks again with all your help. :D

Go to system setting>select more this is under data usage>tethering&portable hotspot>setup wifi hotspot>select see password to see password.

yeah but that isnt free is it? plus when I turn it on on laptop it shows a yellow like caution sigh in my internet bars.

I mean, technically it's not free because you are still using data and we only get 2.5 gigs before we're throttled down to 2G speeds or whatever. However, by using the tethering that comes with these ROMs you're not paying extra for tethering service.

Look through your Windows settings, network connections. There is a rather unpredictable setting for "Trusted Networks". It provides a way to automatically use different security levels for different "hotspots". I've had trouble changing it in the past. Sometimes you get a prompt the first time you connect so you could also try deleting or forgetting the connection and hope for the prompt/choice.
