Root [Virgin Mobile] Change your bootanimation

Here is modified bootanimation binary. https://app.box.com/s/yh0g2gys9vd6j7a9fubp
Just flash in twrp recovery. Then, using a root file explorer, go into system/bin and rename bootanimation to bootanimation.bak (or move it to your ext sd card for safe keeping) and rename bootanimation2 to bootanimation. Then you can put your favorite bootanimation.zip in system/media and reboot your phone to see your new bootanimation. :cool:

Next time I will change my links to the name of the file that they link to. (Still learning)
 
I also noticed a couple cool mp4 videos in system/media/video. Anyone know how to make a bootanimation.zip from an mp4?
 
Once you install the new bin you can get rom toolbox from play store and use any bootanimations in it.
 
Through the updates and stuff I have done my boot animation has been changed to the Samsung animation. How do I change it back to the Virgin Mobile animation? It is still in the system but the Samsung boot is being used.

Thx dude I've been looking all over for this!! Ima use this and the Batman boot in my ROM if that's ok
