Hello, i have the sph-l710 s3 from virgin mobile, and i cannot find a program anywhere that will root it..
Everything has failed to root it, i am on 4.4.2 kitkat but it is called kot in the system weird...
Anyways i would appreciate some help thanks

I moved this here as rooting can be very device specific and other S3 owners would be the best at giving you the information. There may be information in the stickies at the top of the forum as well. Good luck.:)

Have you tried Odin? You just Odin flash philz touch recovery, then use philz to flash SuperSU.
this thread has directions. It says mk5 but it works on NDC (4.4.2) just fine.

Kingo is easier if you wish to use that. Plug in, click root, and voila you're done.
Kingo has been discovered to be sending your data to Chinese servers. If that doesn't bother you, go ahead. It has been widely advised against.

I have the same carrier and phone as you, OP, but it only has 4.3 on it. I'd just assumed that Virgin will not update to 4.4 since I receive updates but then again, I know nothing.

Virgin has updated the s3 to 4.4.2. If you haven't received the update just get kies 3 on your PC and plug in. Or get Odin on your PC and use it to install the stock 4.4.2 .tar file. (NDC)
