Root [Virgin Mobile] flashing slim bean 4.3 or similar

after I am updated to 4.3 (virgin mobile s3) and want to install a custom rom I am getting stuck.

I flashed CWM-Recovery-LTE-SGS3-v5.tar (1).md5 (from the rooting thread) using odin 3.07 but I cannot figure out how to get into it.

What is the easiest way to flash slim bean? Do I need to back anything up like modems apn settings etc??

When I read the tutorial on te cm10.1 for VM, it talks about modem zip files etc... Is all this necessary with flashing the slim bean 4.3 rom

You have to edit the build prop and remove the lines that say asert with the build versions and flash the rom and after you flash. boot up and then boot back into recovery and flash mopedryder Lte mod fix
