Virgin Mobile Minute Checker app no worky!

Uninstalled as well. :( Was such a great app, too bad the dev doesn't respond to feedback about it not working.

FWIW, it just stopped working for me within the last couple of days. I did all the usual troubleshooting: signed in/out of my account, rebooted the phone, uninstalled the app then reinstalled.

And I also emailed the developer.

Bummer, it was a great little app.

Mine stopped working a few days ago. This took care of the problem for me by changing the account access web address from "www" to "www2" prefix.
Just out of curiousity, did you receive a notice from VM yet about the update, subject line: "Important Info About Your Virgin Mobile Service"?
I received that shortly after log on stopped working. I'm not sure if that is related or relevant.

It's a strange issue, mine is still working perfectly.

I received one in December or so stating that important terms were changed, mostly because of them beginning to track my 4G usage, nothing since though.

In settings > applications>unknown sources, you have to check that box, then click on the link, you'll be asked if you want to install the app, click yes, there ya go.

App worked fine on my OP V. Just went through the massive update from VM. Couldn't sign in for 4 days. Changed to EVO V after update completed and doesn't work. Maybe the update from VM was rolled out gradually which is why it quit working at different times for different users. Don't know if change of phone or the big update is the problem.

Did the fix and it seems to work now. However the date is weird. it says "Tu/M/07". Can this be fixed?

Mine has the same glitch. I don't know of a quick fix for that problem. Also, the ring that indicates the time elapsed in account bill cycle is no longer there. Still, having these anomalous issues is better, to me, than not having the app at all.

So ever since the first of this month where I paid for two months my app hasn't been working. And it looks like this. Have uninstalled/reinstalled and the link to the fix ver. Won't even let me sign in.

Try this one. I found it on xda.
I couldn't log into my account for a few days, and the app stopped working. They've finished the updates, and the app still does not work. I downloaded the one you attached...this one does work, but there is a string of code in middle of the screen.

Seems like "Virgin Mobile Minute Checker" author has not updated the app for a while. I contacted him with no success.

I have started working on my own version. It is in google's play store under name "Virgin Mobile Minutes" (it has "V" and "m" letters in logo). It is free for everyone to enjoy. It is missing a widget for now - I will add it soon.

I received an error: java.lang.NullPointerException-null

Same here

I just tried this app also, and got the same message. I emailed the developer and he said he would be making some changes and would be getting an updated version out. Hope it works then, and he gets a widget for it. In the meantime, I'm also trying out the DroidStats app. In the LG Optimus V forum, there is a thread that describes how to set it up so it works correctly. So far, so good.

Yep... app still not working... uninstalled it and just going to the website to check minutes used... that is when I am connected using WiFi since Data is still down.

You should try the DroidStats app instead for now. The free version has a widget that shows your remaining minutes and more if you want. If you "donate", you get additional options.

After setting it up and then doing a manual adjustment so it to matched up with what the VM site showed for me, it seems to work fine. I've checked it several times and it is tracking my minutes properly so far. The widget makes it much better than going thru the hassle of having to go to the VM site to check minutes.
