I'm using Handcent for MMS, but I don't have ND8 or NDC. Did you enter the MMS settings in the app? Go to Application Settings>MMS Settings>MMSC and enter http://mmsc.vmobl.com:8088/mms?, then hit OK. That should allow MMS to work. Other than that, not sure how to fix it.

I was having mms problems on my evo 3d last week and I only got it to work after changing apn proxy and port. I thought it was odd, but it works now

I was referring to the proxy and port, not just the mmsc.
Also try to make handcent prefer wifi over mobile data. I dont know if there is a setting for that like textra.
Im having an issue with my mms. every time i recieve a pic or video it comes in with my number added to the sender along with the original sender. almost as it was a group message. ive had all friends and family send a picture and all send the same, so when i reply it sends to the sender and to my fone. running stock 4.4.2 on samsung galaxy s4 with handcent as my default. stock messenger disabled. any help is seriously appreciated
