Root [Virgin Mobile] Need Testers for Custom ROM (Based of MG2)

Ive built a few ROMs in my day and since support is lacking for this phone (not a grip just reality) Im going to start off with my own Stock ROM .....with addons. If you want to see some of my work head over to XDA and lookup Moped_Ryder in the Vibrant T959 section. Im no developer or "expert" but Ive been around.

Im pulled / based most of my addon stuff from the Hyperdrive ROM. HERE

I thought instead of trying to make the Hyperdrive ROM work with our phones I made a stock MG2 ROM out of my phone and then debloated it. With the Hyperdrive stuff I made addons. Thanks and props will go to sbreen94 and team (credit where due)

With that Id like some testers. I have personally flashed everything myself and Im running it now. I just would rather others test it and run it a day or two before posting it.

Things Ive got so far:

Stock de-bloated MG2 ROM
Flashable Re-Bloater to add everything back.
2 Sound Addons: AC!D and Beats Bass (dont think they work though)
2 Themes: Xperia and Sense (complete with launchers)

I also created center clock mods for the above. I hate the clock on right side.


So.................

Give me a few of you that will test it for me - Ill send a link via PM. Probably by late tomorrow night. Please be familiar with flashing and Id like logcats (via adb or catlog program) for any issues. Thanks

I tried running the sense version, i couldn't get a notification bar at all, so i didnt have a clock or any of that.

The Center Clock mod seems to remove the notification bar on both sense and xperia mod.
 
Odd. I have updated them already. I'll get new links tonight out.

Also added reboot menu, status bar transparency, and initd support
 
Drop me a link to the updated ROM bro, I got a spare S3 that I haven't yet returned to Amazon... lol Might as well experiment all out on it before I have to return it.
 
It was working for the notification. Just don't flash the clock mod right after you flash the ROM, you lose notifications for the sense I can't set my wallpaper. Figuring that out soon
 
Yea sorry forgot in instructions flash then boot for each just to be sure.

Also for sense mod you need to go into System settings > display
 
I pretty much have a good working beta. I'll try to post it for all to test if they want. It's not a real big group here anyway.

I'll try to post it by Wednesday
 
My favorite is Sony xperia launcher. Found out of when you hold on the button and push the Google voice, multitasking and etc, but anyway google voice wont open. boot animation isnt working ive tried installing custom and later if anyone have chance to change camera shuttering. I've also use bloatware to uninstall stock internet browser to Google chrome but yeah this ROM is good for beta. Just make sure you have titanium backup I always have to download it :P
 
Is it the camera isn't making a shuttering sound?

For boot animation it may be a kernel issue. Its loaded with a stock MG2. The next version I'll post has initd support but thru a hack and not the kernel.

As for the Google voice button Yea same with Sense. I'll have to try stock ROM. Also readd all the bloat and try.

Any but those three is problem but anything else. Battery life isn't draining I've been on 85% for while ? I'll see if it drain while I'll be at work.

*update* battery from 85% just drain to 71%

FYI - The Xperia and Sense themes don't have 1% increments on the battery yet.?
 
Oh thanks remind me so I've went to worked today battery from 85% later at least 20- or couple more mins it drop 73% etc mins to 53% ususallly I have 2 breaks during work. Right after work I have 43% little battery drainage and doesn't tell it drop percentage. Unusual I'll keep you updates :P
