Root [Virgin Mobile] PLEASE HELP! Bricked VM S3 not operable!

So my S3 for VM is bricked im guessing. I had it on the Slimkat 4.4 ROM and then i wanted to revert back to stock and i flashed it through ODIN but it failed and completely ruined the phone. first, im in something called ODIN Mode, my phone shows a screen on the top left that says,

ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SPH-L710
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: No
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE
Warranty Bit: 1
BOOTLOADER AP SWREV: 1

and then in the middle of the screen it says,

Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.

I plugged in the phone and i think its recognized but Kies cant recover it. Is there anyway I can completely restore it back to stock android as if i had never rooted it.

Thanks and Please HELP!

I think the Sprint one will work. It's basically the same phone as the Virgin Mobile GS3. Both have model number SPH-L710.

Alright so it did work. But it has the sprint apps and stuff, and im afraid that 3g and 4g and mms wont work because its not the VM one

dude why are you using odin to flash a rom. the best bet i can tell you is flash a recovery using odin via pda in download mode. boom never have to use odin again.

also create a back up asap so you never have to go through that again.

im just saying the way your doing is the hard way. just food for thought

Because you can't flash stock tars with recovery.
Because not everything can be flashed with a custom or even stock recovery.
Recoveries are a great tool, but they aren't the only tool for everything.

You're absolutely right. You use Odin to flash the stock tar image.

BUT........

If the the guy would have used his custom recovery to flash the stock ROM, he wouldn't have needed to use Odin to flash the stock tar and save his phone. Read the OP dude. The guy used Odin to try and flash back to the stock ROM. There are custom recovery zips for that. As a matter of fact there are two. Stock odexed and deodexed.

You're absolutely right.

Evidently he doesn't understand that he could have used Philz to flash back to stock while he was running Slimkat.

He even had a choice of what stock ROM he wanted. Odexed or deodexed. :D
