Root [Virgin Mobile] Pre-4.4 roms?

So I've had about enough of trying to use this phone with this 4.4.2 update or any of the 4.4.2/4.4.4 roms I've tried.

I can't handle burning through my extended battery in less than a day anymore.

Is it even possible to flash an older rom at this point?
 
I don't see why not. I've flashed roms based off of 4.1 to 4.4 just to try them and have had no issues.
What rom are you running now?
What recovery do you have? Just curious as to if you have TWRP or CWM or even Safestrap recovery.

When you say "4.4.2 update" do you mean the OTA update?
Are you rooted?
 
You can still flash older Roms through recovery. Just don't use Odin with an older ROM because of the boot loader and don't flash a different modem.

If you want to try a 4.3 Touchwiz ROM try Wicked Sensations, it's my favorite 4.3 ROM.
 
OK, maybe I'll try that. How about the stock deodexed 4.3 that's stickied in here? is that doable too?
 
im using paranoid android 4.4.4 (d2lte) and with light P.A gapps..
really smooth well balanced rom.. also use battery Dr. app to save more power.
I been using it for about a month now I will stick to Paranoidandroid
