Root [Virgin Mobile] Root without Recovery?

Flipper3

Newbie
Is there a way to root my Virgin Mobile Galaxy S3 without installing any recovery (like CWM or TWRP)? Would this cause any issues for me? And if I wanted to install a recovery in the future for ROM's could I still do it?

Thanks!

as far as i know there are no root only choices for us. you need a custom recovery to root. just a cost of doing that if your afraid of warranty voiding then i would not even root.

I used motochopper to root without installing a recovery. Although I'm still on MD7, so that might be why it worked.

After I updated to MG2, motochopper no longer worked, so I just used the root from recovery method at that point.
