Virgin Mobile Rumored Devices Thread

The LTEvo has the potential of being really cheap as the evo v was 300 after a year on Sprint, and it's almost been a year for the Evo LTE on Sprint.

My GF has the EVO V. She loves that phone.....even though she had to replace it twice lol. Anyway, she's looking to get a new phone for the fall/winter season. I really think VM will get the EVO LTE sometime this year. Maybe sometime around 3rd or 4th quarter. Now if they can get the GS3.....that would be a bonus.

The thing is that the S3 would probably be quite a bit more expensive than the Evo LTE, even though they are comparable phones. Especially since the S3 was the best selling Android phone last year, and the Evo LTE did not sell nearly as well, I think VM will feed off of the want for an S3 and sell it for a much higher price than the Evo LTE. Just my two cents.

The triumph was a pretty fun phone even though it was a epic fail.

Yeah I love how a bunch of you guys made roms for it and tried to improve it even though the hardware of the hardware on the phone was a piece of s***. :(:)

My triumph suddenly stopped charging, didn't want to replace it, just returned it even though some people went through like 6 of them... :what:

"just take our the battery then reboot." typical customer service.

And the next typical customer service step is to do a factory reset -- even if doing a factory reset is extremely unlikely to fix the issue (such as a loose USB connector that is keeping the device from charging properly).

That is what happened to me. The phone was made so bad it could no longer charge...

Sprint Press Release:
As the proliferation of smartphones continues to grow, Sprint (NYSE:S) Emerging & Wholesale Solutions today introduced the Custom Branded Device Program. Through the program, MVNOs will have greater, and potentially quicker, access to a large selection of completely de-branded marquee Android handsets out of Sprint... Sprint has three devices available for this program – LG Optimus G, LG Mach and Sprint Flash. Several additional devices are expected to be added to the lineup by the end of this month.
I would love to see the optimus G on virgin, if sprint ever gives it to us...

My Evo 3D/V 4g is nice and all—believe it or not, I'm perfectly satisfied with the 3G service I've been getting from VM out here in West Virginia of all states!—, but the camera on it is very noisy without rooting and gives a hard time when it comes to capturing a decent photo. I can take or leave the LTE, the AMOLED screen, and even the processor, I just want the 8mp, HDR, instant capture goodness of a modern HTC phone.

I really doubt that unless they fix their network. :(

I'm actually pretty happy with tmobile but I never made a thread or said I was leaving. I've always been here. :D

Sprint has been doing Network Vision in several states, and in the last couple of months they have been working on my area and Puerto Rico. We should have LTE over here before summer (which is when a good LTE phones comes out), though Puerto Rico already finished their LTE. And I'm also moving Georgia, VM have both wimax and LTE in that area.

I'd like to see the HTC One.

I am using a Triumph, the charge port issue is finally getting pretty bad. I can get two new OEM batteries on ebay for $19, I made an external charger.

I'd rather spend the money on a new phone.

You can forget about even thinking of that. That is barely out yet and virgin gets worn out EOL Sprint phones like the evo 3d.
