Virgin Mobile Software Update 12/18

Got a message last night that the "Virgin Mobile Awe Enhancement Software" was ready to install. It's 74 MB. Anyone else receive it and have you noticed any fixes or changes if you installed it?

how long have you had your device? thats the update that downloads upon first turning on the phone. it updates the kernel and (supposedly) some other apps/features but idk what they are. it downloads regardless. no way to stop it.

Really? Been using mine for about 3 weeks now, first time I've seen the message. Not sure if I should apply the update or not as I've already rooted and updated with the oc kernel.

Got mine black friday and it downloaded immediately in the background as soon as I activated the phone. It most likely won't apply with the ockernel flashed
