I haven't tried using any custom ringtones, but all of the included ones sound like the LG one. What gives?

It seems to be that when I set a custom ringtone, it makes the sound of the default one when I'm selecting one, but if my phone rings it properly sounds like the one I have selected. This happens to me with notification sounds and alarms too. It might have something to do with having the media scanner 'disabled' even though everything I have is scanned in already...might that be effecting you too?
