Ok I'm fairly new to rooting, so bear with me. I rooted the optimus f3 and now I'm trying to install CWM using rom manager. It needs to be done manually because it isn't one of the devices listed. I've tried finding a way online but I'm guessing this is too new of a phone that anyone had posted a way to do it. Has anyone found a way to do this?

you guys might want to do a bit of googling, since ics lg has locked bootloaders.

i said since ics, they didnt lock just ics and call it a day.
Prior even recompensing hope you enjoy your new phone.Given your new with no real ex I would stop while behind your messing with something that will hard brick your phone simultaneously no way to recover.CWM has to be ported flashing the wrong CWM not native to lg equates forementioned and or hard brick
