i did back it up but it goes to recovery screen an freezes up an never unfreezes ??? help plz just bought the phone a few months ago

I understand, the real world comes first. There's several boost owners having the same issues as you. I have been researching this problem and trying to figure out a way to make it work for boost. It's a little tuff when I don't own one myself, you understand. I've got same ideas I'm going to look into, though no guarantees. If I need testers can I count on your help?

Follow the VM unbrick method. This will return you to stock LG. Once phone connects and recognized as boost mobile the quick update should configure to v7 Boost as files are there.
If it boots as VM, then root, install CWM, and restore your nandroid backup.
